A Peaceful Akihabara Junction

Walking from Akihabara's Electric Town to the Kanda Shrine, we passed this junction. The area was pretty quiet, but the scene still caught my eye and just seems to represent a less frantic side to Tokyo's urban landscape.

Japanese signage marking a tiny shop (small footprint, but built upwards) well-kept greenery and immaculate roads. An almost intimate scene, back-dropped with towering skyscrapers. There's a bit of the overhead metro line in the photo too which seems to remind us of the city's major "arteries" whilst the individuals go about their business.
